Heart Attacks And Drinking Warm Water

This is a very good article. Not only about the warm water after your meal, but about Heart Attacks .. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals, not cold water, maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating.

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

Common Symptoms Of Heart Attack

A serious note about heart attacks - You should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting . Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line .. You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive.

WARREN BUFFET

There was a one hour interview on CNBC with Warren Buffet, the world’s second richest man who has donated $31 billion to charity.

Following are some very interesting aspects of his life:

He bought his first share at age 11 and he now regrets that he started too late!
He bought a small farm at age 14 with savings from delivering newspapers.
He still lives in the same small 3-bedroom house in mid-town Omaha , that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence.

He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him.
He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world's largest private jet company
His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals for the year.
He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis.
He has given his CEO's only two rules:
Rule number 1: do not lose any of your share holder's money.
Rule number 2: Do not forget rule number 1.
He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time after he gets home is to make himself some pop corn and watch Television.
Warren Buffet does not carry a cell phone, nor has a computer on his desk.

Bill Gates, the world's richest man met him for the first time only 5 years ago. Bill Gates did not think he had anything in common with Warren Buffet. So he had scheduled his meeting only for half hour. But when Gates met him, the meeting lasted for ten hours and Bill Gates became a devotee of Warren Buffet.

His advice to young people:
"Stay away from credit cards & bank loans and invest in yourself and remember:
Money doesn't create man but it is the man who created money.
Live your life as simply as possible.
Don't do what others say - listen to them, but do what you feel good doing.
Don't follow brand names; just wear those things in which you feel comfortable.
Don't waste your money on unnecessary things; rather just spend on those things you really need.
After all, it's your life so why allow others to rule your life?"
"The HAPPIEST people DO NOT necessarily have the ‘BEST’ THINGS.
They simply APPRECIATE the things they have”
Let us choose a simpler and smarter way to live…

Take Care

Two words: "Take Care"
at the close of a letter
may seem to mean only
a moment's concern,
but as little gifts hold
the most wonderful treasures,
so two small words disclose
one of life's greatest pleasures:
The value of true friends,
beyond price or measure.

I add: "Take Care"
to build bridges with words
across days, years, and miles
when life keeps us too scheduled
for face-to-face smiles, or long conversations,
for laughter, or comfort, or sharing vacations,
when an in-person visit is too far away.

In this small phrase, I'll be there,
in spirit, today.

Just know: "Take Care"
means more than it sounds.
It's my heart, and my hand,
reaching out with concern,
during sadness, or stress,
celebrating success, drying tears...
or embracing you most lovingly.
I'm sending you words
when I can't send me.

ICE - In Case Of Emergency

We all carry our mobile phones with names & numbers stored in its memory but nobody, other than ourselves, knows which of these numbers belong to our closest family or friends.

If we were to be involved in an accident or were taken ill, the people attending us would have our mobile phone but wouldn't know who to call. Yes, there are hundreds of numbers stored but which one is the contact person in case of an emergency? Hence this 'ICE' (In Case of Emergency) Campaign

The concept of 'ICE' is catching on quickly. It is a method of contact during emergency situations. As cell phones are carried by the majority of the population, all you need to do is store the number of a contact person or persons who should be contacted during emergency under the name 'ICE' ( In Case Of Emergency).
The idea was thought up by a paramedic who found that when he went to the scenes of accidents, there were always mobile phones with patients, but they didn't know which number to call. He therefore thought that it would be a good idea if there was a nationally recognized name for this purpose. In an emergency situation, Emergency Service personnel and hospital Staff would be able to quickly contact the right person by simply dialing the number you have stored as 'ICE.'

For more than one contact name simply enter ICE1, ICE2 and ICE3 etc. A great idea that will make a difference!

Let's spread the concept of ICE by storing an ICE number in our Mobile phones today!

Please tell this. It would save your life, or put a loved one's mind at rest .

ICE will speak for you when you are not able to.

A BETTER USE OF MIRRORS

AVOID ACCIDENTS WHEN CHANGING
LANES … KEEP SIDE MIRRORS AT 90º TO REDUCE BLIND AREAS

OVER 600,000 ACCIDENTS OCCUR IN THE UNITED STATES WHEN PEOPLE ARE CHANGING LANES.

More than 200 people are killed every year due to these accidents.

60% of the drivers who caused the accident say they didn’t see the other vehicle.

YOUR REAR-VIEW MIRROR (Front Windshield) IS NOT ENOUGH

NORMAL POSITION OF SIDE MIRRORS (YOU SEE THE SIDE OF YOUR VEHICLE)
NEW POSITION OF SIDE MIRRORS
(YOU OBSERVE THE ROAD, NOT THE SIDE OF YOUR CAR)

REASONS TO KEEP SIDE MIRRORS AT 90º :

  • You will not need to look over your shoulders (although this is not a bad idea)
  • You will only need to give the mirror(s) a quick look to spot the blind area(s).(The former method takes too long to look and return to the normal position, making you lose sight of what is in front of you)
  • Looking at the mirror(s) only keeps you focused on what is in front of you
  • You will have a better view, including blind areas
  • At night, other vehicle’s headlights will not reflect on the mirrors

GOOD VISIBILITY MEANS ZERO ACCIDENTS

It will take you some time to get used to the new mirrors position.
Be persistent, this will help you to improve your safety and comfort.

Try repositioning your side mirrors today and drive more safely

SOMETIMES

Sometimes we come across a soul that just lifts our
spirit all the time.
Sometimes you grow close to a person
Sometimes you realize that out of nowhere you
share a bond not even love could amount to.
Sometimes you just want to get up the courage to
say, 'I'll be there for you always.'
Sometimes this is good to remember because,
Sometimes our happy times become sad, so sad.
Sometimes when the sun rises it isn't all that bright.
Sometimes when the seasons change you're left
feeling kind of plain.
Sometimes we all look the same.
Sometimes something amounts to nothing.
Sometimes just comes a time when you're good to go.
Sometimes happy endings bring a tear.
Sometimes happy thoughts bring us fear.
Sometimes we tend to talk too much,
But see who cares as long as someone listens...
Sometimes this life we live acts only as a door.
Sometimes a dollhouse contains horrors behind
closed doors.
Sometimes we are forced to say goodbye.
Sometimes we don't even get the chance.
Sometimes when the end is near it has only just begun.
Too often, sometimes never comes....
